DESPRO NEWS<\/strong> (January 07, 2021) A national event in webinar format was organized by the ISI Yogyakarta Product Design Student Association (HIMA) on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. This activity is a sharing session event by presenting 4 resource persons who are concerned about creative economic activities from both academic and practitioner backgrounds, who will collaborate to discuss how to respond to the development of the situation after the Covid-19 pandemic. The theme of the activity itself is Product Innovation in Creative Economy Development in the New Normal Era. The four speakers who gave their thoughts at the event were Dr. Rahmawan Dwi Prasetya. S.Sn, M.Si. (ISIYK), Dwi Sulistyawati, S.Sn, M.T.Ars. (UNTAR), Drs. Ismael Setiawan, M.M. (ISIYK), and Andre Suryaman (Practitioner).<\/p>\n\nAndika Muhammad Ramadhani, Chairperson of HIMA Despro ISIYK as well as the committee coordinator, said that the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the order of people's lives a lot, from worship, work, shopping, to procedures in community relations. Changes due to the pandemic have also hit the creative economy. So that people need to know and understand what tips must be done to survive. It is with this background that this webinar was held. According to him, this activity is fully supported by the ISIYK Product Design Study Program and ADPII (Alliance of Indonesian Industrial Product Designers) Yogyakarta Chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n In the activity carried out through the zoom conference, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. was present and gave his speech, which also inaugurated the start of this event. The participants themselves were not only students of the ISIYK Product Design Study Program, but also several lecturers and students from other universities, practitioners, and the general public.
