DESPRO NEWS<\/strong> (October 10, 2022) Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts (FSR), Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, Dr. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum. this morning Monday, October 10, 2022, officially opened the international event \"Sewon International Industrial Design Fair (SIIDEF) 2022\" representing the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta. This event will take place on October 10-22, 2022 with a series of activities such as Industrial Design Exhibition, Seminar, and RAKERNAS Forum Prodi Product Design Indonesia. SIIDEF 2022 is organized by the ISI Yogyakarta Product Design Study Program and participated by 4 countries, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Opening Ceremony which was held this morning at Plasa FSR, besides being attended by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta represented by the Dean of FSR, officials from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Performing Arts, and Faculty of Recording Media Arts, Heads of Departments and Heads of Study Programs, also by dozens of students both from ISI Yogyakarta itself and from other universities. Even the Indonesian Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, B.A., M.B.A. through video gave a special speech and appreciated the international scale activities.<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to musical performances, the event was also enlivened by a fashion show of apparel products by Product Design Study Program lecturer, Sekartaji Suminto, S.Sn., M.Sn. The invited guests then entered the exhibition room located in Sutopo Gallery, 1st Floor Product Design Building, FSR ISI Yogyakarta Campus, Jl Parangtritis KM 6.5 Sewon-Bantul, Yogyakarta and appreciated 94 pieces of product design work from various national and international universities.***<\/p>\n\n\n\n
