DESPRO NEWS<\/strong> (August 12, 2022) In order to elect a new chairman of ADPII DPD DIY - Central Java for the period 2022 - 2024, a Regional Deliberation (Musda) was held at the ISI Yogyakarta Product Design Study Program Seminar Room on Friday, August 12, 2022. The event began with remarks from the Chairperson of ADPII for the previous period, 2019 - 2022, Dr. Rahmawan D. Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. The speech was also delivered via video conference by Fitorio Bowo Leksono, M.A. as the Secretary General of ADPII Center who was in Jakarta. The event was continued with the reading of the Musda rules as well as the election of the chairman to lead the election of the Chairman of ADPII DPD DIY - Central Java for the period 2022 - 2024 by Kristian Oentoro, M.Ds, as the Advisory Board of ADPII DPD DIY - Central Java. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting itself was attended by 27 members consisting of practitioners and academics in the field of product design from UNISNU Jepara, UKDW Yogyakarta, ITT Purwokerto, UGM, and ISI Yogyakarta. All participants followed the election process led by the chairman, Drs. Baskoro Suryo Banindro, M.Sn. and the co-chairman, Dan Daniel Pandapotan, M.Ds with enthusiasm. After going through a democratic election process, a new chairman was elected, Sekar Adita, S.Sn., M.Sn. who is one of the lecturers of the Despro ISI Yogyakarta Study Program. All members present have similar hopes that with the election of a new chairman, the ADPII organization in the Yogyakarta and Central Java regions can move more actively & dynamically. Various problems faced by the organization are expected to be resolved immediately in order to achieve a glorious ADPII period, especially DPD DIY - Central Java.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event continued with the delivery of remarks by the elected chairman, followed by a symbolic procession of handing over membership cards to welcome new ADPII DPD DIY - Central Java members who joined in 2022. The event which lasted until the afternoon went smoothly and lively. On the sidelines of the activity, the Head of Product Design Department of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Rahmawan D. Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. said that he was honored to be the organizer of the Musda event this time and thanked all Musda participants and all the committees who had made the activity a success. ***<\/p>\n\n\n\n
