Preparation for Academic Collaboration to Thailand

DESPRO NEWS (October 16, 2019) The Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta this afternoon, Wednesday, October 16, 2019 held a special meeting to discuss preparations for organizing a number of activities in Bangkok, Thailand. The event based on the MoU between Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta and Silpakorn University, Bangkok, Thailand includes guest lectureThe event will be held on October 27-30, 2019 at the Silpakorn University Campus, Bangkok, as well as workshops and exhibitions within the framework of academic collaboration. The event is planned to be held on October 27-30, 2019 at Silpakorn University Campus, Bangkok.

The special meeting itself which was chaired by the Assistant Deans I and II of the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta, Wiwik Sri Wulandari, M.Sn., and Yulyta K Prasetyaningsih, S.T., M.T., specifically discussed the readiness of each study program within the FSR ISI Yogyakarta to participate in the activity in Bangkok. Nor Jayadi, S.Sn., M.A., as secretary of the Product Design Study Program said that the preparations made by Prodi Despro ISI Yogyakarta had reached around 95%. Several products by lecturers and students of Prodi Despro have been selected through a rigorous curatorial process. The work is prepared to be included in an exhibition at Silpakorn University Campus, Bangkok. He added that the Despro Study Program of ISI Yogyakarta is planned to send 2 lecturers, Nor Jayadi, S.Sn., M.A. and Endro Tri Susanto, S.Sn. M.Sn. and 1 student, Andika Maarif, to go to Thailand to make the event a success.
