DESPRO NEWS (May 16, 2017) Formal learning activities should not be limited to the walls of a classroom. To understand more about something, real learning is needed and done outside the classroom. Students will understand something better because they see and experience it themselves. In order to learn something by "experiencing" it, on Monday, May 15, 2017 yesterday students of the ISI Yogyakarta Product Design Study Program carried out a study visit to a metal cast center in Ceper, Klaten-Central Java and a copper craft center in Cepogo, Boyolali-Central Java to see firsthand the metal cast process and the process of making craft products made from copper metal.
About 60 students from class 2015 and 2016 using 2 buses left at 07.00 am to Ceper, Klaten which then continued to Boyolali. The group was accompanied by 2 lecturers and 1 admin staff of the ISI Yogyakarta Product Design Study Program, namely Drs. Endro Trisusanto, M.Sn., Nor Jayadi, S.Sn., M.A., and A. Danar Purnawan, S.E..
