DESPRO NEWS (November 21, 2015) Thirty-five students of Despro (Product Design Study Program) ISI Yogyakarta Class of 2015, Friday, November 20, 2015 yesterday, attended a field study at PT Citra Jogja Kreasi, Jl. Jenengan Raya, Maguwoharjo, Sleman. The group was accompanied by Despro lecturers, Drs. Baskoro Suryo Banindro, MSn. (Head of Product Design Department of ISI Yogyakarta), Dra. RAMM Pandansari K., MSn. (Sekprodi), Drs. Endro Trisusanto, MSn, Sekartaji Suminto, SSn, MSn, and Rahmawan D. Prasetya, SSn, MSi.
Students received material on the introduction of various tools, materials, and workmanship systems. The material was given by the Head of PT Citra Jogja Kreasi, Apip Sulaiman. Students submitted several product designs that had been prepared previously to be executed using several machines such as Waterjet, Lasercutter, and Router. With this activity, students are expected to have knowledge about the characteristics of materials and the realization of a product design using available tools.
