DESPRO NEWS (November 15, 2015) The National Working Meeting (RAKERNAS) of the Alliance of Indonesian Industrial Product Designers (ADPII) 2015 was successfully held at ITENAS Bandung Campus on Saturday, November 14, 2015. The agenda of a dense work program discussion was carried out simultaneously in a parallel discussion session after the opening session was held. The opening ceremony of the event began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering ITENAS as the host, then opened by Dr. Adhi Nugraha, Chairman of ADPII Center, and ended with remarks from the Advisory Board, Prof. Imam Buchori.
ADPII Chapter Yogyakarta sent 8 administrators and members to the event. Two of them are lecturers of DESPRO ISI Yogyakarta, Drs. Baskoro Suryo Banindro, MSn. (Kaprodi Despro ISIYK), and Rahmawan D. Prasetya, SSn., MSi. (Secretary of ADPII Chapter Yogyakarta). The event, which lasted from morning to evening, resulted in several decisions, including that a forum for study programs organizing the field of Product Design in Indonesia will be held soon. In addition, the Rakernas also agreed to socialize ADPII through various media such as newsletters, social media, websites, and so on.
