DESPRO NEWS (September 10, 2015) Twenty-five students of the ISI Yogyakarta Product Design Study Program left together this morning to attend a creative industry-themed event held at the KPLT Building 3rd Floor, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University. The event entitled Creative Playground was initiated by BCIC (Bali Creative Industry Center) of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with ADPII (Alliance of Indonesian Industrial Product Designers).
The three speakers were Abie Abdillah (product designer), Genie Anggita (architect/product designer), and Musa Widyatmodjo (fashion designer) with moderator Dr. Agus Windarto. The event which took place at 08:30-16:00 was also attended by students, lecturers from several universities in Yogyakarta and craft/product practitioners. Despro lecturers who attended the event were Drs Baskoro Suryo B., MSn. (head of the study program), Dra. Pandansari K., MSn. (study program secretary), Rahmawan D. Prasetya, SSn, MSi, Sekartaji Suminto, SSn, MSn, and Noor Jayadi, SSn, MA.
